I just happened to be flipping through the channels tonight and ran across this show on Cable. I love vintage stuff. They sure don't make them like they used to. These trailers still existing is a testament to the fact that no cheap materials were used. Nowadays, it is about cutting costs for the manufacturer and getting as much as they can from the consumer. Kind of tiring, don't you think... I am glad that some people are saving them.

Which is one reason I loved our bus when Mel was able to drive her. The bus is built like a tank, to standards of safety to carry 40 passengers and their luggage. Driving down the road is like riding in a limo so gentle. We were at a rally where a fellow bus nut had just gotten his bus back from painting. He was T boned by a pickup. It slightly bent a bay door and scraped paint. So, it was fixed, while the pick up that hit them Was,totaled! Our bus is a year from turning 40 and still has lots of miles ahead for someone. Figure the odds of a today built rv being in great shape 40 years from now.

I like how the appliances look like thy came right out of your house. There is a trend in some of the higher end 5th wheels to use "residential" fridges and I'm curious if other residential appliances will make there way back into the RV's. You can find Class A now with no propane just electric appliances. Will be interesting to see if it comes full circle.
