Old Hardware Store in Halstead

We discovered this old hardware store, built in 1885 in Halstead. Could spend days wandering around in it.

I was going to save this blog post for later - then I read Liz's post about the hopscotch game - and yes, I would have hopped, most likely.

Love that store. Love even more that they still have the original tall shelves, etc - and the ladder. What a find!

I also love these old time stores..we have an old
hardware in Greenville that I find things you cant
find at WM type stores....

There is a very old hardware store in Placerville, CA. Diana and I went in there when we got together for lunch. It also still has the shelves and the ladders. They have expanded to a spot next door but kept all the original stuff in the old part. A rare find.
