Love these sculptures in downtown Wichita. We saw them several years ago but I didn't take pictures of them. Hope you enjoy them. I know we missed a couple as there are 31 of them.
Will probably do another post on Wichita as I left a lot of stuff out about the day.

Gosh, you have to watch where you walk in that town or you could trip over one of those smaller sculptures!
The little boy with the ball, that actually looks like maybe a balloon rather than a ball? Very interesting art! Really captures everyday life.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

I love sculptures. Thanks so much for sharing those.

All this summer I told myself I'd walk around Rapid City one day and see if I could find all the presidents ... never did do that. If I'm back there next year, it'll be a project I'm going to try to undertake! Luckily they'll be named, because I know I won't recognize all of them ... probably should, but know I wouldn't.

Thanks, I may have to add the space museum to my list of places to check out.

If you're interested in this type of stuff. The town of Ligonier IN is covered in murals and they have 4 statues of children around town. The town of Tecumseh MI has street art and sculptures scattered around town. Tecumseh tends to be modern in nature.

Thanks again.

Wichita has a rich history.

The small town of Shawnee, OK has painted ponies statues. The town of Custer, SD had some, not sure how many, bear sculptures, as I saw three, but didn't have time to explore the town.
