Roaming Kansas

We left Emporia, Kansas this morning and went all of 89 miles to Halstead, KS. Beautiful weather finally. Wrote my blog about Halstead - the town, a house we almost bought and some of the buildings. http://lifeinbrowncounty.blogspot.com

What a great little town and great little house that you almost bought. I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of Halstead.

I have always thought I would go back to this little town. In the early 1950s, I remember going there and now I'm not sure why we did. I think perhaps my grandfather and perhaps my mother saw someone about their hearing loss. Wonderful houses!

Very nice little towns! Hope the weather gets better and you don't have any more issues with the RV.

I got caught up on the past week or so, and read that your son and his fiancé are getting married this weekend?! Where will that be?
I tried to look up the link to that song they did for the woman who lost her son, but got an error message.

Have a good, safe and hopefully, dryer trip!

on edit: Ok I found the video... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=swCBMbwrIU4
Brought tears to my eyes. Very beautiful!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

they are getting married in Southern California on Saturday - we will not be there. I really liked that song too - also brought tears to my eyes.
