Where is Lori?? Cedar Key, Florida!!

After traveling across the Florida Panhandle and traveling down the Gulf Coast a little we discovered Cedar Key!! Located north of Tampa, it's a "Rustic" little fishing town with some tourist stuff, but really friendly.....

Then Friday, friends of ours for over 25 years drove over from Mt. Dora, Fl to spend a couple of days with us...

We're enjoying it here, but are moving onto the Orlando area Weds. to visit Mickey and Minnie....

Been to Cedar Key a couple of times, although before we were RVers. A good friend eloped and got married there. It is still a quaint town although much more touristy since it was "found". Was originally just a small fishing town. Hadn't seen the camp before. Thanks for the pics and enjoy the rest of your trip south. I'm in Sarasota if you happen to pass this way. carold

Cedar Key is 50 miles west of where I am in Florida. It has a wonderful seafood festival there each year. While you were there did you go to one of the local restaurants and try to the swamp salad? It is a heart of the palm salad and a bit different than the usual salad. With all the warm weather we are having right now it is a wonderful time to travel in Florida.
