Very interesting place. Hope you don't have to work too hard and get to enjoy the farm and surrounding area.

Very interesting, especially the GEO therm building. A friend of mine worked at a fishing lodge in Alaska and when she mentioned she recently had been winterizing engines (airplanes) I asked jokingly if that had been in the job description. She said no, but neither had chasing bear and cleaning fish. I'm wondering if she will put that on her resume when she finishes Grad School.

Beth, what's the weather going to be like when you get ready to leave? If the snow is too deep do they have to keep you. Take care of your knees or there will be a time when you will regret not taking care of them.

Martha

If the weather starts getting too bad, they'll have me leave early. Can only wait and see. If necessary, yes, I could stay until things are better. One couple is staying all winter. Doubt there will be work for the wife, but there is always work around a farm for her mechanically inclined husband.

Glad you are home - and hope the healing continues. Big hugs to you - as I know what it's like taking care of a patient who isn't a good patient - even one who is!

I saw Nelson's Farm highlighted on a hunting show I was watching. When I brought up the website I recognized it. Hope it is a good experience for you.

It's got it's plusses and minusses. It's also the Pheasant Farm VP Dick Cheney frequents. Asked a worker here today and they say he was here last year - some years he comes twice. Probably will be here and I'll never know it as we have very little contact with any of the guests.
