Okay leave it to me to decide to travel when Texas is supposed to get rain for the first time in MONTHS!!!! If it rains too much for any of us to do anything in Port Lavaca, we'll just stay inside, drink wine and play poker. I've never been to the Texas coast beaches and I'm going to take a walk on the beach, rain or no rain. My dogs may not come with me as they don't really like to get wet. I really need to explain to them that they're Labs and LOVE water. Maybe I need to rethink sleeping with two wet dogs, huh?

We're hoping for rain here - but not till Sunday - unfortunately - our chances here are still only 20% - and we've had lots of these types of chances, and no rain - or maybe a drop here and there.

The beach in Port L is completely different from the beach here in Port A - love them both - but completely different. I'm glad you'll see both. Only problem here is these beaches were really clean all winter, now is the season when we get they yucky stuff (that's not the technical term LOL) - but I still love this beach.

In Port Lavaca there is supposed to be a bird sanctuary right behind the RV park we're staying in. Pictures (hopefully) to follow.
