I had a WalMart one (cheap Chinese knockoff) first - didn't work at all. But the Weber version - YES!

I don't have a grill. Mainly because if I was too bring one, it would have to be charcoal. I just love the flavor from a charcoal grill. So I stick with my George Foreman. Just easier for me.

As to cooking other things on a gas grill, I guess they aren't all equal, because I have a friend who can use hers with pots and pans.
