Having driven this winter/spring from California (Pacific time zone) to Arizona through New Mexico (Mountain time zone), Texas (Central time Zone), and on to Mississippi and parts north to Michigan and Ohio (Eastern time zone), I have discovered that my problems with dragging myself out of bed my entire life is due to being born and living in the wrong time zone!
I am now back in Central time, headed in a few days to Colorado where it is Mountain time. I am getting up every morning at 8:30 am without an alarm or being tired all day. I am ready for bed by 11:00 pm instead of being wide awake well after midnight! I get a good night's sleep and feel well rested in the morning. (Well, I still don't bound out of bed in the morning, but I get up at a reasonable time, at least reasonable for me.)
After spending most of last year in Pacific and Mountain time zones, I was having a terrible time waking up in Eastern time zone. Now, many of you know that Michigan is on the very western edge of the Eastern zone, so I propose that it really ought to be in Central time, which would have solved my night-owl problems all these years! In fact, I believe the perfect time zone for me would be Mountain time.
So, is there anyone out there who was also born in the wrong time zone???
