Best of luck; the adventure is in the trip not the destination.

Since I normally park in campgrounds I've only turned my water pump on twice a year. Once to de-winterize the water system and once again in the fall when we winterize. Otherwise we are on the city water connection. We drink bottled water and use bottled water for coffee. I learned years ago that drinking the local water while traveling did not always agree with my tummy.

I always carry at least two bottles of water and always use my blue water filter at the campgrounds. Its not so much that the water is bad in different places as that it has different "bugs" and I have a sensitive tummy. Only drink bottled or Brita filtered and same for the dogs.

Am fighting a bad case of bronchitis - on my 8th day. Guess I'm lucky, this is the first time I''ve ever had it. If I'm feeling better I'd love to meet you for lunch. Right now its an effort to get from one end of the house to the other.

If you end up with questions on the road, I'm as near as a text.

Karen, didn't see this message until after I sent txt mssg about lunch. Don't come out if you're still sick. I'll call when I get to Kerrville and we'll decide then. Hope you're feeling better.

Donna, thanks for the info. It's the fresh water pump, not the engine. Thank heaven.

Just made trip to Camping World for surge protector, leveling blocks and water filter. It's cold here! At least it's cold for south TX. 46F with wind and rain.
Such a sad day for those of us who are old enough to remember the day President Kennedy was shot. Lots of flags at half mast. I guess those us who are old enough remember where we were when we heard the news.
