Had a great time with Beth on the trip to the glacier. Weather good, everything you could want. Afterwards she and Peaches came for a bowl or two of tGM's chili. Tomorrow he will try his hand at fishing for pink salmon or whatever he can hook. Here is a link to our day.

Did you boss Beth around? Make her cook for you and serve you?
Isn't it fun?

They weren't at all bossy, unlike some people I know.

I've enjoyed my time with them. Hopefully tGM catches fish today and they stay in Valdez a bit longer.

What a fun visit. I hope Beth keeps this summer job until I can come up there and ride on the LuLu Belle with her :P

Looks like you had a beautiful day for a boat ride. Great pics and smiling faces. Good luck on the salmon fishing.

Okay, CarolD, I get that tGM is your DH, and I've been calling him the Grand Marshall in my head  , but what does it really stand for?

Barbie has a good memory.

Got home from today's cruise and had a note on my door to come for dinner - that they are pulling out tomorrow :? It was a later night so I hoped they had gone ahead and eaten, but got Peaches on her leash to walk over there to say goodbye. They HAD eaten, but had food still waiting on me. I could really get used to this ... quickly. But I had the best intentions - if they were staying, I intended to cook Monday. Maybe they realized that? And are running as far and fast as they can?

Has been great having the company. Good people and so glad to see them again.
