Internet while traveling/camping

How do you full timers get your Internet? I know in my area very few campgrounds have free wifi. I travel with a laptop. Kindle Fire and Iphone. I know McDonalds and a few others have it but I like to use Internet in the evenings. I'm always going over data usage on my phone when I'm traveling/camping.

for the month I was traveling, I increased my data package on my cell phone just in case I needed to hotspot it. Now that
my month is done and I'm home again I can can go back to my original data package on my phone. I'm curious
to see what others do cause obviously once I get my rv I won't be doing the hotel thing with free wifi.

i'm not full time by any means but when traveling I have a Verizon MiFi (has been called a jetpack) 5G (have never gone over this usage) $60/month. Works very good. Can disconnect when not needing but I think they charge $20 so I usually forget to stop it.

I also have a jetpack from Verizon. Speed is excellent. I can increase the number of GB I use each month, even just before I run over, and so far have been averaging 8-10 per month. However, I work half-time teaching online college classes, so I need a LOT of data. You can start at 3 or 4 GB which is probably enough for most people.

Only problem was having to sign a two year contract to get the jetpack cheaply.
