A jolly good day

Mntgal (Diane) Beth and I went to an RV show in Victoria, Texas. The attendance was very poor. But we hadn't realised that it was just a 1 dealer show, so the selection was limited. There were no Class Bs, that Diane wanted to look at, and Beth really isn't in the market for another rig, but I found my dream home. I had suspected that I would like an airstream and sure enough I fell in love. Now all I need is 60.000k.!
I did enjoy looking as this retro rig.

This was inside the rig I liked. You can't see the sofa 'cause it's covered by these weird women. what can I tell you? On the photo of Beth and Diane, please note my natty blue purse from Mexico.

We started to get silly when we were in this pop up. We didn't realise how much you could open these up. Perfect for the beach.

I looked through the other rooms we have on this forum, but there wasn't a porno room so I'll have to post this here.

after lunch we went to Port Lavaca to the beach. Diane had never been to the Gulf before.

Mikki, a plastic banana. We were grabbing stuff off the table as props for our photo. The salesman wasn't sure what to do about us, but he took our photo anyway. The salesmen didn't bug us, to the point we had to search for someone to answer questions. There were no brochures or handouts available. I did win a tacky oversized T-shirt as a door prize.

Great pic of Diane at the beach...looks like a lovely day. Sorry it wasn't a bigger rv show with more variety of mhs to browse through.

What a fun day we had! Thanks for posting the pics Sparkle. As said, the RV did not offer much in the way of Class Bs. But, happy serendipity led us to the beach for a perfect afternoon. I picked up a handful of shells for DGD. And will be going back, with or without a "B"!

Loved the little retro rig. Did you guys see where I'll be staying in Port Lavaca (Oceanside RV Park)?

I'm pretty sure this: http://www.oceansidervpark.biz/ is your rv park, Karen. If so, I pointed it out to them from where we were on the beach, but didn't drive past it. That's the one I spent a night last April. Just a warning - their address says Port Lavaca, but they are actually about 15 miles from Port Lavaca - so make sure you get the directions. It's not easy to find without them - but you can stop at a gas station in Port L and pick up a local map that has the streets to follow on it.

Sparkle didn't tell you that we gave permission to a photographer to take and use pictures of us she took when we were in one of the Airstreams. Dummy us didn't ask where they might show up - what newspaper, etc. Ah well - if any of you ever see us in an airstream pic, let us know :)
