Oh, Ava, I am sorry. Isn't wonderful tho that you are debt free and not having to worry about those other payments. Dang bumps in the road!!

thanks everybody, no part time job for me, been there, done that but living with my son is cheap cheap cheap (rent free) so it will all work out and I
can still acquire the things I need for the remodel and be ready to adjust the budget come August when I see what it will look like. And, ya never
know, by the time the wedding is done and over the budget may look ok to do the move. So I do stay positive and sometimes you just have to MAKE
things happen instead of WAITING for something to happen. I really don't want to be that person that says WHAT HAPPEN?

Ava, you impress me as the type of person that isn't going to let any obstacle get in their way. It'll all work out!

Ava, I do understand your wondering if the "suits" sometimes choose changes for those that that they "think" might accept it the best because of their dedication or their work ethic..... Especially, if those issues aren't defined or protected by a seniority list. :? In the end you can't waste your energy "shaking" your internal fist at what you know you can't change. And retirement will be here soon! :) Keep moving forward woman! :)

well, we do have a seniority list, but there are times when it really doesn't mean anything. However, today
went well and for the afternoon I subbed on a big bus again. Was like riding a bicycle, after I rubbed the
first curb on the first turn, I said, oops, swing wide, oh yea, now I remember. Anyway, the elementary
run was one I had done years ago course the kids are all different but the stops were the same so it was a
piece of cake and I almost didn't need the map but there was one stop on there that I didn't have way back
when.

I sincerely hope your school realizes just how danged lucky they are to have a driver with your talents working for them. I can see where you must all be feeling the horrible pinch of funds that this economy is forcing on us all in the working world. Some days I am sure I cannot handle my budget at all any more----perhaps it's that strain and stress that made my heart go nuts yesterday.

When I read about your stresses, however, I realize my life isn't half as stressful as is yours! I am also so very thankful you can live with your son while things are getting sorted out by you. Many of us moms would probably give thanks for such a situation. Our kids seem to grow up and away and on their own way too soon for my liking.

Hang in there, girl, and keep us posted!

Remember...When life throws you a curve, lean into it! I pray about these things and God always gets me through ;) I am a bit out of touch, but do you not still drive shuttle at the airport? Maybe you could do that in the afternoons?

I quit that one last February as they changed my schedule where I wasn't making the money I wanted for the time I was spending away from home. I'm ok with the budget now, car and rv are paid off now Linda. I've actually been able to
enjoy some of what life has to offer, and I keep moving forward :D

Sorry that job didn't work out. I know you liked it. What a great feeling to have things paid for :D That was your goal. Your goal to move back into your RV is even more doable. It will happen. You know how poor I am, but here I am, still RVing ;) I'm always trying to figure out how to get caught up, and hopefully someday, ahead. God has a plan for me. I'm trying to trust.
