Savannah's first birthday party.

Well, finally got some pics downloaded, so I am gonna try to put them on here for yu to see. Her mama and I went all out and she had a great birthday. We had kids coming out of our ears, and adults too. It was great and I think from the pictures, you can see she had a good time too. Oh, she learned to say Nana too (before mama)

She sure looks like her Mama! I had to grin when you said her first word was Nana, but I think she's got you all wrapped around her little finger!
Beautiful pictures of a wonderful day! Thanks for sharing.

Savannah sure had a great first birthday party. Was the little dress you made her a pillowcase dress? Way adorable for an adorable one year old.

Thanks all my friends for looking and commenting on her pictures. Yes it was a pillowcase dress. I have made her 3 of them and one cross over dress with bloomers. They all fit so good, having to get my daughter to measure and send me the measuremets by email. Gonna be making her more.
It truly is hard to believe that a year has gone by. Yesterday, she and her mama were playing in the playroom and her mama asked her to show her the dog, she looked at the 10 cards she had out on the floor, dug around and brought out the pic of the dog and gave it to her mama and said "dog". :o I think she is gonna be a pretty sharp cookie. I absolutely loved sitting in my rocker and watching her play in her playroom. I could see the wheels going around in her head. I jokingly told her mama at Christmas, "Ain't nothing dumb about that baby" and it has become a family joke. Everytime she does something , they look at each other and parrot that phrase at the same time. Glad I could bring some joy into their lives.
