Question about California traffic.

Talk about anything under the sun! Just remember to be respectful of others.

One thing I do on California freeways is constantly check my side mirrors so at least i am not startled by the lane sharers. It isn't so bad if you know they are coming.

Long ago, I remember driving in southern Europe where it is common on a two-way two-lane highway to pull over slighly so that someone coming towards you can pass in the middle, in a sort of invented third lane. It works only if all participants are driving only very small cars! Will never drive in Italy or Spain. Husband did it way, way back then, and it was still very scary.

Driving on the wrong side in the UK was easy, other than putting up with the irritated local drivers who did not like my driving the speed limit. I did not want those cameras they have at every intersection sending me a speeding ticket after I got home, although I have since been told they never track you down.
