PS.....I have been sitting here watching someone try to park a large 5'er - backing into a downhill incline right on the water front.....about an hour now. This park is practically empty, I just don't see the attraction to wanting to lose your 5'er in the lake....? :? :)

I just consider stuff like this free entertainment. The same way I'm sure I provide entertainment at times for other folks. Doesn't take much to keep most rv'ers entertained. Besides which, mama prolly said "I want THAT spot!" And if mama ain't happy......

Well apparently my gd while visiting me in AK picked up a black feather. I sort of remember her showing it to me and me telling her it looked like a raven feather. She stuck it near the door of my RV and I promptly forgot all about it. At the US border in Haines, a USFG officer boarded my rv to look around. Another border officer chatted with me about not picking up eagle feathers while in Haines, and that there is a $1000 fine for possessing one. I wasn't concerned until the USFG guy comes out holding that black feather saying it's an eagle feather. At that moment I was so flustered I had no idea where it had come from and couldn't tell them. (Later I asked my dd and was reminded). I was led into their offices and told they would not fine me "this time" if I voluntarily relinquished the feather and signed papers admitting to illegally attempting to transport an eagle feather across the border! That's my story. I still think it was a raven feather.

I no longer pick up any feathers in my travels.
