One time I was breaking camp and Spike wouldn't come down from her favorite lounge place on the bunk. I called. Rattled the Friskies. Darn cat. Now I'd have to drag out the ladder to climb up and get her. She had velcroed herself from shoulder to hip! I had evidently left the hook side up. I was laughing so hard I could barely peel her off and I'm sure it was like taking off a bandaid! She was sure in a snit, believe me. It's hard to say "I meant to do that" when you can't move! And, as any cat owner knows, no matter how embarassing the situation a cat always indicates they meant to do that.

I thought Jim had the cover tucked in on his side, so I gave a big yank and was startled when she flew straight up into the air and fell right back in her place She had no idea what had happened. But she looked at her mama laughing her butt off in the bed, rolled those beautiful brown eyes at me,turned her back to me and settled down again. I will never forget that, it was so funny. Just glad she didn't fly off the bed, because she went up at least 2 to 3 feet in the air.
