Postby grammynmaggie » Mon Jan 14, 2013 12:33 pm

Well my shake down camping trip is now over! I did not want to leave!
I am hooked good lol....I only wanted to leave if going to another camp
ground...I loved it I am having trouble putting it into words how free I felt
and feel like I now have a life...my life back...I want to full time right now!!!
I did real good (I think)...not as scared and wimpy now lol...I learned alot but
still need more learning .....need one of those 101's....I will still have questions
at the Fl GTG hopy you all not mind....I did a few stupid things....I will tell all
on my blog ...i posted the first about it today if you want to check it out...Right now
I am sitting in dad's drive way hooked up to his shore power. I cant stay hooked up because
I dont want anyone thinking I am living it it and complain. I want to keep a low profile..(as low as
you can with a 29 foot rv). But it need a good cleaning ton of sand tracked in. I will be posting
all week on my blog about the trip...

Good job, Donna! We never doubted for a moment you could do it.
I'm so glad you still have so much excitement, if not more!

Do keep track of all the funny things you do. I didn't and wish I had. I look back now and wonder what I was so scared of.

My neighbors and I discovered a security alarm I didn't know I had at 6a.m. on my shakedown trip.

Great job, Donna. I enjoyed reading your blog & seeing the pics. Looks like you've got it all figured out. Your thoughts were similar to mine - hmmmm that wasn't that hard! ha!  All we have to fear is fear itself - the sewer hose is not to be feared, just to be handled correctly. :) - I just know you will have a blast at the FL GTG!!! Looking forward to hearing all about it.

LOL Liz, that's when I usually set the alarm off, 6:00 am or midnight. Managed to set it off at a gas pump and it wouldn't let me start my engine. I was pushing so many buttons I don't know what finally turned it off.
