Poor Internet solution

Postby JudyJB » Sat Dec 22, 2012 8:04 pm

I have had really iffy internet service the past week here at Myakka. I get my internet through Verizon's cell phone service and a mobile hotspot.

I was typing one-handed while holding my "jetpack" or hotspot high up in the air with the other in order to get more than 1 bar. Not a good solution, so yesterday, I got the brilliant idea to velcro it to the window with sticky velcro tape!

So now, it is still a slow, but MUCH more stable and had not cut out on me hardly at all. I can go online for an hour or so at a time without a problem.

Thought some of you might want to try this.
