So, my name is "Mudd" today....We were on the way to Luckenbach, TX and went to take the camera out of the purse, no camera....left it sitting on the table at the RV....Ernie was a little POd, but stated that he wasn't going back to get it...so on we went...got there....walked around old "outbuildings, stone houses, and the Luchenbach Post Office"....To make sure I had something to document the visit, I bought a post card of the post office there and scanned it in to share...I've been somewhat "forgiven" for not having the camera....lol

Known that feeling which is why I have a phone capable of pics too...they aren't as good as the real camera, but a good back up!

I think the post card scan looks fine!! If you hadn't been so honest, I wouldn't have known.

Hopefully your name ain't muddy any longer. LOL!

That's okay. I didn't have my camera with me when I was there either. Of course that was before cell phones were popular.

When Liz and I went out on Thanksgiving, I had the camera....gee it just have a charge on it. So understand how you feel, looking at something wishing you could take a picture of it.

Wait until your DH forgets his wallet someday! Has to happen right?

We were in Indiana headed to a cemetery and courthouse quite a few miles away to do genealogy research. Stopped along the way for something and late DH realized he forgot his wallet. Many court houses, etc. did not allow purses, brief cases, etc. so I quit taking anything with me. Well, can't get photocopies made without money! All of a sudden one of us realizes we now have a digital camera - this was 2001 - worked great.

Then I went sightseeing with a camera and dead batteries. That was first time I used a camera on a cellphone!

At any rate, you did a great job by buying the postcard - place hasn't changed in 10 years!

Seems to me I had to take long distance blurry pics of the mama and 4 cubs in AK with my phone because I screwed up with my camera. Happens to the best of us, which you just proved. And that post card worked just fine!

I've remembered my camera but forgot to put the memory card back in it! Could have kicked myself big time! Or the memory card is full... or the batteries are dead...

It does happen to all of us. I forget mine a lot of the time. We will be out somewhere and I wish I had my camera with me. That is when I post a pic to FB, just to have a picture to download later into my computer. Besides, I am sure the Sultan has forgotten something at some point.

don't stress about it the card works great and we may be greedy but we will take
what we get or don't get
