Good thing I waited - cost me less than $300; needed a new master cylinder. Nice to have an honest mechanic! And I'm sure the other two places would have taken me for much more. Well, they tried to anyway.

Thanks for sharing your pics. I always enjoy seeing the places you go to. Glad it was just the master cylinder. You were definitely right to wait to get the brakes fixed.

What beautiful pics, as usual, Beth. I love the history lesson at Lassen Volcano area that you gave about the lava formations in the rocks, etc. And what a bunch of VERY busy people must have lived in that petroglyph area! Those very early relatives of ours sure liked drawing, writing, and painting, eh?

I am ashamed to say I have been to none of those above parks, and I realize I have so many more places to see before I leave this world.
