Bandera Weekend

Bought a ramp for Buddy and decided a test run to Bandera to visit with Sharon (Sprinter) was a good way to try it out. It works really well and he can get up and down it great. This is a picture of him coming down the ramp. Taking pictures of black dogs is almost impossible. Really, he is on the ramp.

Its a small park (Passport America) and my site was just above the river and wide open with lots of grass. Unfortunately for Buddy, it was too far for him to get to the river to play. doubt he could have made it back in one trip. But he was really, really happy to be RVing with momma again and Sophie was glad to have her Buddy back.

Shirley drove over to have dinner with us. She's moving to this park on the 12th. Hope it survives Sharon and Shirley.

And finally, yes it was a little crowded in my little 19' van but with two such happy faces it was worth the crowding and was nice and warm at night.

I LOVE my Roadtrek.

Thanks for sharing the pics! The ramp looks like it works really well. The campsite & park look nice. And love your RT - it looks so cozy & homey. :D :D
Can't wait until I can get out there & meet up with some of you. :)

I really need to get a ramp for Oscar. I'm glad your Buddy got to go with you this weekend. Looks like a nice park. I will have to get the details at the TX GTG.

Great Pictures Karen... and yep, I also had to purchase a ramp from Ms Abby as her hips are bad
and she sure loves it.. in fact this afternoon taking her and Zeke to the vets it worked great..cause lifting her
butt in and out well..it gets tough..as she watches me struggle and gives me the "look"..

Love your rig too.. nice and cozy... !! yep, you,Sharon and Shirley look like you had a great time !

Glad your RT and ramp are working out so well for your travels. You look happy too.

If anyone coming to the FL gtg needs a ramp, I have a nice one to give away. Only used about a week. Let me know.

Oh, I'm so glad you got the ramp and Buddy can come with. How much better for ALL of you. Even if he couldn't get to the river, I bet he could smell it - and I know he was thrilled to be on the trip. As for the 3 of you ladies, no doubt in my mind you had a good time.

Wow! I don't know Shirley but I know those other 2 smiling faces! I really enjoyed Bandera when Karen took me to the biker bar there.

Only one question...ummmm...Karen, where do you sleep, 'cause it sure looks like the bed's taken!
And here's your awwwwww! Sophie! So glad to see the awesome Buddy back on the road with his mom and sis!

So good to see you out again and with all your fur babies. Great to see the other smiling faces too and that looks like a lovely campground.

That ramp looked like a great solution for Buddy. The campground looked great too. Your babies did look very happy to be out with their Momma.

Your ramp looks a lot lighter and easier to pack than the big one I got when Molly was injured. Where, may I ask, did you find that one?

I love the pics of you all! Can't wait to meet you all again when I get back to FL!
