I remember this area as being so beautiful and your pictures are sure a testimony to that, Beauty !!!. I am so glad that you and Nan took this route, its not a place to miss and I was unhappy for you all on trip up that you had to bypass it. Of course, think only Liz, knew what a sacrifice was being made in changing the route.

Interesting post and Pictures are a treasure to look back on and enjoy ,

And yet another wonderful bunch of pics and narrative! I remember Banff and Jasper well, and would love to go back there some day not far in the future. I am so glad they have fenced those highways now and have made the nice green animal corssings.

nope never get tired of seeing mountains and lakes there where some really pretty lakes that photo with the moon in it was neat and loved the
close up of the fuzzy plants :) really was a neat picture
thanks for that part of the drive enjoyed it ...have heard of the 'bridges' for the animals glad it's working out

Tina, never worry about us being tired of the mountains and lakes. I enjoy every single photo. I like to picture myself there seeing what you are seeing. Definitely on my bucket list.
