Always exciting to see another adventure of yours in Alaska, Liz. I was so very happy to read that sign about keeping fishermen alive and bears free! People are waking up to the fact that we can all co-exist if we understand each other.

There is an island on Hidden lake that we boated to and camped on many times. Thanks for sharing. BTW a few years back a lady from Minnesota got attacked by a bear while jogging on that loop road. She barely survived. Please stay aware.
