Was a really good price fgorwhat was included I thought, but the economy being what it is I guess a lot of people are releuctant to spend on extras. Was really looking forward to it, one reason being i would have people to do things with for I have found I don't really enjoy traveling alone. Well actually, don't mind the getting to and don't mind if there is something to do. But I don't enjoy just going to a cg and being by myself. Yes, campers are friendly but most are invlolved with their own families or groups. Well, didn't mena to get off on that. Not whining or feeling sorry for myself, just don't enjoy that type of traveling. Wish I did. Lots of rain here overnight, flooding in some parts of town. Pepper is usually not bothered by thunder, and even he was cowering last night! Everyone have a safe and fun day! Wendy

Sorry your trip was cancelled Wendy I think you would have enjoyed it. I'm like you, campers are friendly but most are involved with family or friends and I've often felt alone. We'll have to plan some trips to travel together! There is a guy here who I think would like to find someone to travel with too and he belongs to Loners on Wheels and another group. I may go to some of those if this weather EVER gets off this 100+ pattern, I've also told him about the Fl GTG.

Pooker suggested looking for another tour group, good idea, I bet there are several in your area.

Wendy, I would recommend you plan another one but wait until late Sept or early Oct. The kids will be back in school and the weather will be nice. I would love to do this too..
