KD, good to hear from you - but as to what you say here, I get completely conflicting reports from some whale experts - and most agree that they still don't really know why whales breach or do some of their acrobatics. But they all agree that they don't do it daily - and that while cleaning may be one reason, most think it might have nothing to do with that. I then searched the web - and found some whale websites that I find fascinating - and again, can't confirm that - other than it is one of the possibly reasons given for whales breaching. Who knows - we don't really know or understand a lot about them - but I sure love watching them.
That said - I love watching them breach when I get to see it. And I'm so glad to see you posting again!
