Sounds like they care, and I'm glad you're happy - but that price for a reset would have bamboozled me. I paid only $60 something when I needed a part - at the repair place in Cheyenne. But, for getting you in ahead of others - that was really nice - and everything else they showed you- wonderful.

Now, you know, you need to run your generator EVERY MONTH for 1-2 hours - otherwise it's going to quit working on you!

I need to start a random list...

-->Plug electrical cord into outlet in small box when not hooked to campground service. (I think I saw this on the Cruise America orientation video.)
-->Run generator at least a hour or so every month to keep it working.
-->Learn how to run generator. ;)

All rigs aren't the same - so don't put it on your list unless you need to do it for YOUR rig. That's not something I need to do.

And Ellen - run the generator under a load - not just running it with nothing on. Turn on the ac, or if it's cold out, plug in an electric heater, for example.

I don't need to plug into my generator either. My previous one I did. Also, never start the generator with a load. Wait until it is running good and then turn on something. It's a good idea to always turn your air conditioner off when you unplug from electricity. That way you won't forget it is on if you decide to start the generator.

Thanks Beth and Martha. I have a bunch to learn. I will be going through all my manuals when I get my MH. That is where my list will be coming from because I know I will never remember everything.

My class c's have had an electrical outlet in the outside panel behind the refrigerator. But that wouldn't turn the 12 volt power to it off. You would probably have to turn the 12 volt switch off for the whole coach. That probably wouldn't help, I was just wondering. If it was that simple they sure wouldn't tell us. I was looking at my book and there are also 3 fuses in the back somewhere. I didn't know that.
