Beautiful Camp Cihak in SE SD. Free 30 amp hook up and laundry facilities with extremely friendly campground hostess. Dog friendly. Libations served nightly on the patio.
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

So glad to read that you and Carole will be hitting the road again soon. Sounds like a wonderful first trip for Rosie.
My one trip to SD was over 50 years ago (how can I be that old?) I remember staying at a lodge near Spearfish Canyon. They would give you a spear and if you could stab a trout in the stream behind the lodge, they would cook it and serve with all the trimmings for free. I learned the hard way that was a very safe offer on their part and that snow melt streams are bitterly cold even in late June.
