The Dumpster Has Arrived!

Postby mizdeb » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:38 pm

I had a 30 yard dumpster delivered today and tomorrow the cleaning out begins. I started on my craft room on Monday and quickly had so much to throw away and no place to put it that I got out the phone and made the call. Now I have to start moving and clean this place out. I may even get a storage space to put the things I just can't part with for right now. We'll see how much is left when I am done.

I am scheduled to go back to work on July 1st so plan to make a good dent in this place before I do. I know once this happens then I won't have the energy to do much during the week. I feel as though I am lagging so far behind the rest of the ladies getting ready to hit the road. I want to plan for the fall, but we will see if the house sells by then.

Have a great day sistahs.

Deb, I started at the opposite end of the house from my craft room. Right now, I have no idea what I would leave behind from there. Darla is so excited that I am giving her my sewing center. I just cannot figure out a way to take that. Too bulky and heavy. That's the only thing I am not taking right now. You are much stronger than me!

I gave away all my quilting and sewing stuff when we were purging to hit the road....have only room in the 5er for my counted cross-stitch and crocheting stuff....boxed some things for the GD for her "Hope Chest", told the kids to take what they wanted, then the rest was yard sale/Good-Will stuff.....

You will get it sorted and life is good without all that clutter.... ;)

BTW.....I'm so proud of the both of you...You're getting ready for the rest of your lives....(((HUGS)))

Lori, you are going to laugh at me. Told Mom we will have to be careful on weight because of all my craft stuff. I figure as I use it up making gifts for birthdays and Christmases, we can have more of non-craft items.
