We are here and sitting in another Walmart in Calgary this time. Using WiFi at a coffee shop. It is faster than nothing..... :)

Awesome! At least no one had to go thru what I went thru at the border crossing! LOL!

loved the shot of the lake so pretty ....
it's amazing you hear of some people crossing the border and it's horror stories then others not a problem
but maybe it's yet to come from Canada into the US...just a thought
when you go from Canada into Alaska is there a border crossing similar to the border from the main land into Canada?

I've always had an easy time going into and out of Canada, but never did it with a motorhome. Did they ask you about vegetables, fruits, and meat? Wonder if you had to dump that stuff before you went through border???

Funniest crossing when we went to visit my mother-in-law who was in the hospital just on the other side of the Detroit River with a heart attack. I was very pregnant, and when they asked where we were going and we told them the hospital, we got super-fast treatment. Didn't realize until later they probably thought I was in labor!!

Stop in a grocery store and get some real "Canadian bacon." It is called "pea meal bacon", and needs to be cooked as it is only pickled and not smoked. Fry up slices with eggs in the morning or fry and make into sandwiches! Yum!
