Waiting anxiously for a report on how your first day went! I just know you're gonna love it....other than dealing with the public can be a PITA. Hopefully you and they will be seeing so many wonderful and exciting sights they won't have time to complain about anything!

Oh, I love to watch the sea otters. Hope you get more pixs of them.
Is the hearing aid part you need something I can pick up and ship to you? Would be glad to do that if you think you can replace it yourself. (best I remember, the shop you deal with is here.)
