HI THERE KATHY!

Wonderful to hear from you and see your beautiful picures. I have been wondering where you have been wandering and contemplating lately.

Stay in touch when you can, and share as many pics as you can take! Deserts are not my thing, for sure, but those pics of the Zion area are spectacular with such interesting rock formations.....not like the gigundous flat expanses looking like land oceans of sand and cacti!

Thanks for checking in and sharing those pics! And I could picure all those things you asked us if we could! Fun to "see" things in such land configurations!

Happy travels!

Kathy, sure did have to laugh at you not being a 'desert lover'. I'm not a big lover of the desert either! Some of the area that you posted pictures of is beautifully awesome but after being out there for 3yrs other than the sporadic beauty the sameness is monotonous. When we got home here in TN we felt like we were in green heaven. I need green in my life not sandy sameness!!! ;)

The picture of the house that you posted reminded me so very much of the house we looked at every time we went to St George to get groceries. Really neat looking and we both would have loved to get a look at the inside to see the layout and floor plan.

Was wondering the other day where the heck you had gotten off to. Glad to see you post again.

Kathy, somehow I missed this post until now. Maybe because I was in MN for that week.

Love, love, love your photos!!! They are professional looking and I love those landscapes! I want to see those parks one day. Such beauty! And love how you envision different things in the rocks (and cacti in the desert). I like to do that too.

California has a lot of pretty areas that I still want to see. Other places I would like to visit are New Mexico, the mountains of Arizona, the mountains of Colorado and all the states in the north west. I love mountains, forests, rivers, waterfalls, lakes, etc. I am also not a desert person. A little of that goes a long way with me.

Have fun on your travels and please share more photos and keep in touch more often!

PS> that house is awesome! Would love to see the inside of it!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)
