I make reservations to be someplace during holidays - and if a town is having a festival - like getting a site in Albuquerque during the balloon fest, for example - you need to do that WAY in advance. As to needing ac - it depends on where you'll be. Nebraska - flat, hot and humid - probably will. That's when I look for Passport America parks near my route.

I am looking forward to not setting an alarm clock for at least a while, however.
