Very disappointing for sure, but I know you will soon find your rig.

So sorry, Karen, for this disappointment. But, as someone mentioned, it did have a few more miles on it than perhaps it should for you. How nice to know you can get a bank loan, too!

Keep checking the pages, and soon one will pop out at you!

Actually would be more concerned if it was really low miles in the age I'm looking at (1996 to 2000) because that would mean it sat a lot which is worse for them than driving them a lot if they're well maintained. Stahlman Bros RV in New Braunfels has a 2000 Roadtrek 190 coming in Thurs or Fri. If its clean she's gonna call me. No more private parties for me after my last experience. I'll stick with a dealer who's been around for a long time and where I can go back and complain if there are problems.

That many mileson a Roadtrek that age should be no problem if it's been properly maintained, Karen. I'll cross my fingers on the RT in New Braunfels. Good idea to work through the dealer.

Have you looked at Sportmobiles? They have a factory in Austin and their website always lists some used units for sale. Sometimes the units do not have all the bells and whistles so read the descriptions carefully.

Thanks for the link. Those are REALLY nice rigs BUT over my budget. I'm looking for under $20,000. There are some out there in that price but they're older and higher miles but since I only want it for weekends or maybe a week, I'm okay with that. I will keep an eye on this site however. They did sell one below $10,000 but it had no frig or generator.

Liz should certainly be the expert on Road Treks and milage, and all that! Good to know all this, as I, too, am thinking Class B vehicles if/when I can sell this trailer and truck----maybe. Perhaps. Who knows??!!

A few years ago I advertised my 98 Pleasureway and got an offer very soon which I accepted. The very same day, I got a higher offer and I asked my husband what to do. He said, you will honor the first offer of course and he was right. My first thought when you posted disappointment was how unethical that was of him. I'm a believer that somewhere down the road he will get his due. I always take into consideration how the average consumer will view my purchase, as chances are I will want to sell it later.

I monitor the Sportsmobile website often and they do seem to sell fairly quickly. Maybe something will pop up that's more of what you are searching for. I did notice that PPL in Houston has a nice looking 02 Leisure Travel B with 63000 miles for @ $17995.

That's a nice one but I need twin beds so Carole can travel with me. I actually made the bed on a Leisure Travel from the passenger seat turning around and the jump seat folding down. Maybe a child could sleep there but not an adult - way too narrow and lumpy. My rig is out there somewhere but I need to concentrate my looking for somewhere nearby as I can't afford to travel too far to kick the tires and then find its not for me. Too many trips like that and I won't have any $$ left to actually buy one. For right now I'm using Stahlman Bros RV in New Braunfels. They usually have several used B's and she knows what I'm looking for and my price range so she's looking for me. Fingers crossed.

Sorry about the loss, Karen. Stinks when someone doesn't stand up to their end of a bargain. But like everyone said - that one wasn't meant to be - yours is still out there and you will find it.

Karen - PPL now has a store in New Braunfels as well as Houston. Might keep that in mind.
