Planned to be on the road by 9 this morning - was closer to noon What can I say - the lovely trail Peaches and I like - well it called to us "just one more time". Then, already an hour late, had to dump, fill my water tank, check my messages, hook up the car, say goodbye to Sheila - well, you know how that all goes. Oh, and finally pulled out my printer and printed my Canada cards. Then Sheila told me a more scenic 15 mile drive getting out of SLC - so I took that.
There were places I would like to stop someday - and didn't this time - like the potato museum (I mean, c'mon - I LOVE potatoes). But now, here I am - boondocking at a beautiful city park on a river - watching two geese families and sundry other birds - have already walked Peaches around the park once - will do so again before dark - and again in the morning. Since no dumping, no water filling, no hooking up, no getting printer out from storage and replacing, etc to do in the morning - should actually get an earlier start. So maybe I will do some sightseeing. Or make a Wally World stop - have a list growing.
And - since I only drove 211 miles - getting on the road at noonish - even with stopping for gas, and making a rest stop break, was off the road by 3:30 - how much more laid back can I get?
