Beth, the big, fat lizard in your Why and Ajo post looks like the Desert Iguana I saw here - which I first thought was a big lizard.

Someday I'd like to go back to Why and Ajo. Good to know Ray is still there - nice guy.

I didn't know Organ Pipe did the cristate 'thing'! Very nice. We have seen several cristate saguaros in our area this year.

Loved these posts! Glad you had a chance to gtg with Sharon & Evie. Organ Pipe is beautiful and still on my list. All the cactus info was new to me, so enjoyed that too.

Beth - the sunset photo came out gorgeous! We did have some wonderful scenery, didn't we? Sharon and I both had a wonderful time. On the way back home, we stopped overnight at Salton Sea and it was 104! You know that the first thing we did was hit the pool! Glad we had better weather in Why.

I was almost home when my tv came tumbling down - AGAIN! It did that once before so I have it strapped around the overhead mattress now and I don't know how it managed to escape, but the strap was still belted! When I got home I plugged in, set up satellite, and lo and behold the tv works just fine! They make these things pretty sturdy these days!

Anyway, it was sure nice to link up with Beth again. It's pretty wonderful to know there are friends out there around the country and now and then you actually get to meet some of them!
