I'm sorry to hear this. It's never easy, but you kept her best interests at heart.

Janice, I am so sorry :( But I also know you did Kiwi a great favor by sending her on her way so nicely. She will be waiting for you at that Rainbow Bridge someday and you will have a joyous reunion. ((((((HUGS)))))

Some of us are lucky enough to know an animal's love; it is magical. So very sorry for your loss.

Big comforting hugs, Janice. The pain of helping our furry souls leave us never gets any easier, no matter how many times we do it, but would I avoid falling in love with a furry friend? Not on my life. There is a magical relationship between us humans and our furry kids, and we are so lucky to have this magic in our lives. The memories will be with you for as long as your mind can recall them, and will always lend that special feeling Kiwi shared with you. Her last arm lick said that as she was so grateful for your supportive arms around her.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!
