So sorry you are facing this battle. Certainly hope and pray that the treatments will be successful.

Sheila prayers and love are coming your way. May you both find this journey has a wonderful outcome. As you take care of Larry remember you need to take care of yourself or you will be no good for him. It is one of the hardest things I have had to remember. My Drs told me that this would be the hardest job I have ever had and I have to agree with them.

Try to let our heavenly father shoulder the small stuff and you concentrate on Larry. He will be right beside you.

Sheila,

My heart goes out to you and Larry. I know this has got to be so disappointing for you both. But I am trusting that Larry will receive the care that he needs to enjoy some quality of life with you and your wonderfully supportive family :) One day at a time gf. We are here for you!

Love,
Sharon

Thank you all for your thoughts wishes and prayers
Talked with Larry tonight and he already is sounding better...
amazing what a little blood, hydration, platelets and liquid diet will do for you :D
they are starting to think that his loss of blood is possibly due to an ulcer
when they discovered that he had prostrate cancer they did the radiation 5 days a week
5 weeks and then a internal radiation called a bracheytheropy so not spelling that right... and they thought
it was taken care of a year later they found out it has spread to the body lower back ribs hip and base of the skull
Nov his psa was 550 its now 1650 and that is being on a shot for the last two plus years as well as other meds
I don't know if there is a possibility of the seeding working as basically there is now no prostrate left after that
radiation treatment Think it was one of the options we had and we choose this one...but I truly believe it had spread
before the treatment.
again I really appreciate your messages so much
Sheila
