Hi! I was introduced to RVing by my good friend Soos, who has been generous and gracious enough to let me stay with her this winter, at her home in Orlando. After my first week here, we went to Hillsborough State Park, with an amazing group of women, who just happen to belong to this group. I've always considered myself an independent, self reliant women, but you all have me beat!! I am VERY impressed, and enlightened by what I witnessed last week. You ladies are incredible, and I feel fortunate to have met you! You are all so different! Some of you seem happy-go-lucky, some more serious, but you all have something in common. This is very cool!

Anyway, this is supposed to be about me. Can you tell I have a hard time talking about myself?

Retired in June, 2012, I'm still getting used to retirement, and loving it! I would love to experience as many things as I can, while I'm still relatively young (62). One of my goals is to lose weight, and I think I am! Soos and I have been pretty busy.

I'm actually looking for a home down here, near where Soos lives. I love this nice quiet area.

I have a home in the Adirondacks; Wilmington, NY. I have three beautiful daughters, and three handsome grandsons! I retired from the Olympic Regional Development Authority, as the Director of Finance, after 30 years.

That's it in a nutshell, I look forward to getting to know all of you, and Thanks for letting me join!

There you are, you old reprobate! You forgot to mention that you are becoming a great member of the RVing community by helping me set up, hitch and haul. And that we have plans to travel the country as soon as retirement checks and paying off debts become a reality!

Hi Kathy and welcome! It was great getting to meet you at Hillsborough River. We all had such a great time and I am glad you were there with us. I look forward to hear about your continuing adventures. Isn't retirement fun?

congrats on retirement and looking for a place to live in FL. Nice that you and Soos travel so well together and that you have future trips to look forward to. Hope to see you again. carold
