Newbie in US

Come on in and say hello.

Newbie in US

Postby mrstchr » Mon Jan 21, 2013 8:47 pm

Hello ladies. My name is Joanne and I am a full time RVer with my husband and three young children. I was a public school teacher for 19 years ad hubby is a retired police officer. We just began our adventure a little over a year ago and look forward to lots of fun. We tow a 2011 Jayco Eagle fifth-wheel bunk house with a 2010 Dodge Ram 3500 dually. We are in the US and currently in Texas. :D

Hi ladies, thank you.

Beth, you can call me Joanne or Jo.

Carolyn, we were just in Breaux Bride last week...a drive through as we were heading to Avery Island.

Nan, we were in Flordia for most of December...Frostproof, visiting hubby's dad.

Hoping for some warmer weather here in Texas.

Jo

Depending on where you are in Texas, but I know it's supposed to be in the 70's by the weekend where I am. Welcome from a native Texan!

Welcome to the forum. Sounds as if you have some "home schooling" in your future if you aren't knee deep in it yet. Your kids will definitely get to see "historic sites" up close.

Since you are in Galveston, I hope you plan on checking out Space Center Houston in Clear Lake. It's really commercial but still entertaining and educational.
