New member intro:
My son left for the Air Force in August 2011 and I started full-time in a 2012 Forest River XLR 27HFS toyhauler.
I've got two Australian Shepherds and one Aussie mix who travel with me. I'm a contract IT worker and drag the trailer to my assignments. Currently, I'm working in Morgantown, West Virginia. The dogs and I enjoy hiking, biking, non-motorized boating and most of all... not sleeping in hotels!
Looking forward to getting to know all of you!
Kathy

Welcome Kathy. Glad to have you with us.
Do you stay for long periods on one contact or move fairly often? Either way how wonderful.
Hope to meet you one day.

Hi Kathy. Welcome. Glad to have you with us and look forward to hearing about your adventures. Certainly agree to "no hotels". Too many horror stories about hotels anymore. Saw one last night on the news.

Welcome to the forum. Glad that you found us. Sunds as if you have a good career to be able to travel and RV and see different parts of the country. Look forward to meeting you here on the forum and down the road in some future campground.

My length of stay is dependent on contracts and length of project. I spent 8 months in Sacramento before moving to WV. I hope to be in the Carolinas in October.

Welcome from the left coast! To bad you didn't find us sooner, we could have had a GTG up in Sac! Excel is near you in the bay area and Pooker and I are down near Hemet. Be sure and keep us in the loop as to where you are, you never know when one or more of us are gonna be in the area.

Will do! If the East Coast contracts don't work out, I'll be headed back to the West Coast in October.
Thanks to everybody for the warm welcome!

Hi Kathy! What a neat family you have. Please thank your son for serving!! I live on the Central Coast of CA - quite a long ways from Sacramento but my daughter lives about 30 miles south of SF so I visit the Bay Area often. Welcome to the forum

Great pic and thanks for sharing. And doing a link works fine. But if you want it in the post, you need the IMG code - paste it into the link and it'll imbed.
