Hello,
I'm new to this site and am happy to get to know everyone. Looks like a good group of friendly people with lots of knowledge and experience. I used to tent camp but climbing in and out and in and out got old real fast. It's so nice to be able to get dressed standing up.
Good night until later,
Jane

Welcome to the forum. Tent camping....yes....it is what makes me appreciate all the amenities of my small rig so much. The ability to stay dry, stay warm or cool.....bathroom in the middle of the night without a flashlight......
Jump in whenever you can. We'll all look forward to meeting you more down the road and around the campfire.

Here's a little of my story:
About 18 months ago I upgraded from tent camping to a travel trailer. I came across a price leader that was a great fit for both my needs and modest budget. I ended up jumping in the fire faster than expected. Somehow I went from looking for a 12' trailer to buying a 20" trailer without owning a TV. My sister was kind enough to offer her Yukon for towing and after checking some facts I took advantage of her kindness. Some months later I was able to get my truck so I got my independence back.
I'm on this journey alone. At one point I was overwhelmed. I worked on mastering one step at a time before moving onto the next step.
I haven't wandered far from home yet but I love the beach which is where you can usually find me. I'm in love with full hookups! In June I will be doing a couple days of dry camping at El Capitan State Beach (north of Santa Barbara, CA). I had tent camp there a couple of years ago and love it.
Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Terie

glad to meet you and your TT is very nice looking! We tent camped with our boys when they were little and I loved getting them out like that but from my standpoint it was quite a bit less than fun... love those full hookups and a comfy bed!!

Welcome Jane, glad to have you with us on the forum. We will enjoy pictures, information on where you camp or trips you make. Sometimes we get ideas from each other because of where we go or what we do...
