Hi everyone,
My name is Julie and I live in Oregon. I just found this site and am looking forward to learning a lot about full time rving from all of you.
I'm not ready to hit the road yet, I have a house full of stuff to do something with and a 10 year old Rottweiler that I don't want to take on the road.
I love to travel and have been to 33 states, mostly by flying. I'm traveling to Venezuela in a few weeks to visit a friend.
I'm here to learn more about rv's and trailers. I don't know yet which I'm going to buy. I want to learn more about boondocking and about solar power.
I have a lot of travel books and know where I want to go to start :) I look forward to learning more from all of you! Thanks, Julie

Hi and Welcome, Julie! So glad to have you with us. And we are a mix of people who rv occasionally, people who do so often, part-timers, and full-timers - and then those looking and still deciding. It all is good.

Read and ask questions - join in anywhere.

Welcome, Julie. I'm one of the occasional campers since I have that pesky full-time job that cuts in to my fun time. But it pays the bills, so I have to go... :D

Welcome, Julie. So nice to have another westcoaster on board. A friend and I are planning on an Oregon road trip this summer. What area are you in?

Thank you all for the warm welcome!
I'm in Klamath Falls, 1 hour south of Crater Lake NP. Please let me know if you will be in my area and we can meet for lunch! :)
I would love to see your rig! I'm still deciding what I want. I saw a 28 foot class c today that I like the interior of, but I have been wanting a little
bit smaller rv. I think I will know it when I see it! Right? LOL Julie

I drive a 23 ft motorhome and find it works well for me but haven't spent more than a few days at a time in it so far. I am planning to rectify that this summer with an extended trip around OR. Crater Lake is on the agenda so perhaps we can arrange to meet up for a visit. :D

Sure that would be great! I would like to see your RV. Do you think you could full time in it? Julie

Honestly, for me I would need more storage as this rig is very limited,, and a separate bed area would be nice as the jacknife sofa is not convenient nor comfortable.
