Hello everyone! I bought my coach - a 1998 Tiffin class A, 39' dp - last Feb in Albuquerque and my very first trip out was bringing it back to eastern NC. Wow, talk about learning curves! Anyway, after several short trips last year I wanted to spend the worst part of the NC winter somewhere warmer. So, ended up down here in the Rockport, TX, area. Of course, in January we did have a very cold snap down here - just my luck

But, it was very short lived and am now enjoying my kind of weather! I travel with my 2 dogs, a 2 yr old chihuahua-terrier mix named Silkie and a 9 mo old rescued lab?mix named Cappy. And, I tow my car now...can't be without my car!

I hear you regarding the search for warmer winter options. Sounds as if you have enjoyed much working your way through this past year. Don't be a stranger, pull up a camp chair and through up a few pictures......you will find the beer and wine over there in the shed off to the side of the "campfire"

Hi Donna, You've seen a pretty part of the country in your travels. Hopefully you'll be able to attend the GTG in Texas.

Congrats Donna. Are you gonna try and come to the Port Lavaca GTG the first week of April? You can get your "official" flamingo wineglass if you come.

Hi Donna,

Welcome aboard and I will also offer my congratulations on your first year too. Sounds like you have found "home" on wheels. There are a lot of gals down in TX right now. Hope you get to meet up with some of them.

Looking forward to hearing about your upcoming "summer trips" and maybe some pics of your rig and "fur babies".
