Hello From the Eastern Shore of Maryland

Hello everyone! My name is Irmi and I live with my hubby and our 12 year old Bishon. We have been camping for over 20 years and currently camp in our 31 foot Sunseeker type C motorhome. I still work fulltime for an electrical contracting business that my parents started 50 years ago this coming April, which my brother (and boss) now owns. I have worked there for almost 34 years and we are hoping beyond hope, that I can take early retirement the end of this year. Although I get 5 weeks vacation a year now, due to the economy, can only take one week at a time, which leaves long trips out. But I see a GTG coming up in the Lancaster County PA area this year, which I am hoping to attend. As soon as I figure out the part about posting pictures, I will try to do that. Everyone here seems like such a nice bunch of people and I hope that somewhere along the way, I will start meeting somes of the names and faces I have seen here.

Hi and Welcome, Irmi. So glad to have you with us.
I'll be in Lancaster this summer - and am working with Lori and others on a place for that gtg - everything about it is currently up in the air, but there WILL be one - so keep your eyes on the gtg room for updates as they come.

My Mommy doesn't take many pictures of just me, but this is one she took when she said we had to take a walk in the rain. I hope we can meet real soon.

Yes, there will be a PA GTG this summer, but are looking into alternate campgrounds and venues....so when the dust settles, will post details in the GTG Section..Glad you have found us....jump in and enjoy!!!

Finally! Someone who is sort of close to me (I'm in Central VA). Welcome to this fabulous forum with a great group of women. They are opinioned, helpful, caring, and funny! You've certainly come to the right place by joining this group. Maybe sometime this summer, we can find a place between where you are and where I am in Centrral VA to get together! Welcome!!!!

Greeting from the Left Coast, Irmi! Retirement is still a fairly distant (4 years) thought for me, but I applaud anyone who's on the countdown to being footloose and fancy-free.
Glad you've joined us! I also see that you've already made the requisite picture post, so hopefully those who keep track of those kinds of things will be gracious to you now.
