I live near Seattle, WA and have been RVing on a MH since 1998.I a, currently on my third RV. I love to RV and just retired in June which opens the door to do lots more with no concern about a calendar. Last summer found me on a caravan in Alaska and this past winter found me trying out the SW in Texas, New Mexico and Arizona. Stumbled across this website and look forward to being part of this online community. See you around the block!

Welcome to the forum Catkins! We have quite a few ladies here from your area. It's great that you're retired and able to travel at will. Just be forewarned, we'll be bugging you for lots of pics of your travels.

Welcome aboard. Hopefully you read enough posts to be forewarned
Sounds as if you already have a lot of the "oops" worked out of your traveling. Looking forward to hearing your opinions, questions, observations and laughter. Come sit by the campfire until you can meet us down the road for real.

Welcome Catkins! I can see you can teach us a lot here ... and I look forward to following you in your travels (read: POST PICTURES!!!)
I head out your way from time to time volunteering at American Camp on San Juan Island. Maybe if you're in town whilst I head that way, a number of WA women can do a mini-GTG. (or you can do it without me! Sniff!)

Welcome, glad you decided to join this site. I haven't been on it too long either but am enjoying it very much. Great group here. Sounds like you are looking forward to the "open road". That's my hope in another year. Don't have the RV yet, but am looking. And WA is one of my favorite states. My mom was born in WA. Small town called Duvall, northeast of Seattle. Up near Snowqualmie. I visited there once. Beautiful area.

Welcome! I'm in SW WA state! I have only one short trip under my belt as I bought my motorhome last fall and then put it in storage for the winter. I'm anxious to get it out soon if the weather would ever co-operate!
