Hi from WA state

Come on in and say hello.

Hi from WA state

Postby Christine » Sun Dec 20, 2009 9:34 am

Good morning everyone.. I am retired and I own a Jayco Featherlight Sports I just got this last yr. Previously I have owned Scamp trailers, that I liked very much, but decided I needed alittle bit more comfort. I try to get out at least once a month to go camping and mostly go to the beach. I cant say I RV as I have not done any traveling. Maybe one of these days I will .
I take my Boston Terrier with me, but my old dog now has to stay home as she cant get up in the trailer anymore.

Welcome Christine, so glad you have found us, these ladies are a wonderful bunch.
Glad you have already figured out how to post pictures cause we love pictures.
Your Boston looks like one I had some years ago. Jump right in on the "Campfire"
or "Good Morning" post or anywhere in between, don't be shy.

Welcome to the forum. I grew up in Seattle before moving to sunny, warm California. In spite of what you think, you ARE an RVer. You drive your rig to where you want to be and set it up, etc. Some of us travel a little, some a lot but we're all sisters. Maybe one of these days you can come to one of our GTGs.

Another welcome aboard here......I learn and am inspired all the time from these ladies.....we are very diverse in our travels and experiences but that really helps...I know that it demonstrates what I already felt in my heart, there is no one way to travel and explore our lands....the lands of the world or the dreams of our spirits! Come on aboard this virtual caravan....the pictures come from many different "stops" but we all get to share...and many of us are keeping lists for our futures.....please feel free to add to our lists :)

Welcome to our group Christine! We seem to be getting a lot more women from that area, time for yall to plan a gtg so we can see more pictures of everyone. Your girls are darling, my boys would never sit side by side like that. I can't wait to hear about and see some of your beach excursions.

Christine, welcome. I'm from Utah and I'll be heading to your state in a few months. Plan to get together with Marda (WickedLady) when I come through the Olympia area in mid-March. I'll be coming up I-15 on my way to the San Juans. If you are anywhere along that route, maybe you could join up with us for a mini-gettogether.

Hi, Christine!
I'm in SW WA. What direction are you? I just bought my motorhome last Sept. I have only one tiny trip under my belt so far. It's winterized and in storage right now. Glad we are getting a few more gals from this neck of the nation. Hop right in and let us get to know you better!

Welcome to the group. Sounds like you'll fit right into it. We (tGM and I) went as far as Portland this year on our travels, but have been to WA quite a few times as well as tGM being stationed in Tacoma in the 60's. Love that area. Sounds like you just might have a mini-GTG in the making already-you sure are fast  carold

Christine. I have been checking for places to go. I'll have to look up that state park. I live near Vancouver. We have another member that lives there in Shelton. Should be close to you, too. Cool!!

I used to live in Puyallup WA and I have camped at Grayland state Park. The areas are like a big wagon wheel and about 10 campsites in each circle, not far off the beach and going into Westport was fun. We used to crab off the docks in Westport.
