Thanks from Minne'snow'ta

Come on in and say hello.

Hi from Minnesota!

Postby BarbaraRose » Mon Dec 07, 2009 10:03 pm

[Hi gals!
My name is Barb. I am 48 years old and I live in Minne'snow'ta. I am looking for my first RV (probably class B or C). I plan to use it on weekends to begin with until I get the hang of it. Eventually, I would like to go fulltiming, once I can afford to. I have been reading everything I can get my hands on to learn all about RVing. I was so happy to find this site for women RVers! I have been reading thru a lot of the threads and you all sound like a fun, crazy bunch! I read that you are having a GTG in Florida in January. I would love to go and meet you all, since my best friend lives just down the road in Crystal River, but I just can't get away then, since I just started a new job and can't get any time off then :o(

I plan to ask lots of questions so get ready...I can't wait to learn all I can from you!

Well hello Barb! I get to be the first one to greet you! :)

Looking for your first rig is exciting. And don't be afraid to ask questions -- if there's one thing we're NOT short on here it's opinions.

Glad you've found us, Barb!

Hi Barb!!!!

If you have been doing a lot of reading you can see that the Sistahs are a great bunch of women. I have never seen a group/forum like them. We're nosy, but in a good way and give all the support that we can when someone needs it. As we all do sooner or later.

Here you will find the best of 'homes' for women RV'ers.

Welcome aboard!!! :D

Welcome Barb! So glad you joined us. Sorry you can't make it to the FL gtg, but if you get to Crystal River at another time, let us know. Several of us live or winter in Fl and we can always have a mini-gtg!

Feel free to ask any questions you want. There are no "dumb" questions here, and a plethora of experience and knowledge. And what we can't answer, Mitch will find the answer very quickly!

Welcome Barb! Your post makes me remember when I first started looking at RVing ... so much to know. I've been doing this about three years, and wouldn't give it up for the world. We have lots of experience ... some take their time and make great choices the first time out, and others (pick me! pick me!) are of the "learn by experience" variety.

Hi Barb, welcome, and what everybody else said. I'm new to rving too, just got my Roadtrek last April. It's tons of fun looking at rigs, learning all the new lingo, and finally shopping for one of your very own. :)

Hi ya Barb and welcome
Work gets in my way of traveling too and so do the moths that keep fluttering out
of my wallet, pesky critters!
Ditto on what everyone else said and when ya get to it, post some pictures of your
critters too, we have a pet section for that, and we love our critters.
Brrrrr on Minnesota, but then again, brrrrrr on Arizona, today it was COLD! and I
wore two pairs of socks!
