Hello from Florida!

Hi,

I'm new to the forum, but not new to rving. My name is Marti and I live on the coast of west central Florida. In June of 09 I purchased a 1994 21ft Damon rv. I call it Wanderer after a boat my grandfather had on the Chesapeake Bay and I also have a great deal of wanderlust!

I am still in the work world, having to wait until my 60s to retire. I enjoy rving (of course!) ;) , kayaking, all kinds of crafts (beading, knitting, sewing), reading (especially this forum) and cooking. I have a Golden Retriever named Scarlett (9 years old) and two cats, Katt and Hemingway (each of undeterminable age since they were strays). Scarlett travels with me and we will be at the Florida GTG in January.

Look forward to seeing you ladies then! :)

Welcome, Wanderer. My Golden (Monty) goes everywhere with me and loves my friend's Golden (Scarlett).

Wish I could be in FL to meet you and Scarlett at the gtg - but I'm sure our paths will cross another time.

Thanks for such good info - and I hope now that you've posted a few more times, and especially after going to the gtg, that you'll find a moment to join in some other threads here and there. We sure (well, I won't speak for others - I sure) like to make new friends and keep up with everyone here.

Welcome to the forum. Think you will find it a very "good home" network for all sorts of topics and great place to make new friends.
We'd love to see some photos of your fur babies and of course any of your travels.

WELCOME TO THE FOLD, MARTI!!!

You will have a fun time here, and that FL GTG sounds like something I wish I could get to...next year, if I am able to actually take the bit in my teeth, retire, and haul outta here!

Looking forward to meeting you along the roads somewhere.

welcome from Arizona as well
I'm like you, still working and probably until I'm 65, but that day will eventually
get here. In the meantime I live fulltime in my rv, and share road travels by
means of the internet, :D Hope to meet you down the road someday :D
